Andrew Hunt

Andrew Hunt serves as Complete Tennessee’s Programs Coordinator. In this role, he works to ensure administrative and logistic needs are met for the organization’s leadership development programs, advocacy campaigns, and other community engagement strategies.

Before joining the Complete Tennessee team, Andrew served with the International Anti-Corruption Academy, an international organization based outside of Vienna, Austria. He also worked with FIAN Ecuador, a nonprofit that works to ensure the right to food of indigenous peoples and rural Ecuadorians.

Andrew is currently completing his master’s degree in Human Rights from the University of Vienna in Austria. Andrew focuses his research on barriers to access and success in higher education for low-income and minority students in Tennessee. He is also an alumnus of Lipscomb University, where he served as student body president and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Management with a minor in Political Science.

Andrew serves as a tnAchieves mentor for the Tennessee Promise program. Having recently relocated back to Nashville, he is eager to become more involved in advocacy efforts throughout the city and state. Andrew is especially passionate about Tennessee’s immigrant and refugee populations, social and economic rights, and of course, access to and success in higher education.
