Prior to joining the Complete Tennessee team, Kaci served in various roles of community and program development at tnAchieves, the partnering organization to the Tennessee Promise. She played a key role in the evolution of the scholarship and mentoring program in Memphis, and also worked to support student success and accountability at community and technical colleges across the state. Kaci also taught English in Costa Rica and upon return worked with Latino Memphis, an advocacy organization that connects the Latino community with health, education and justice resources.

An honors graduate from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN, Kaci holds a bachelor’s degree in English for corporate communications. She is proud to be currently pursuing a master's degree from Lipscomb University's School of Public Policy.

In addition to being featured in The Commercial Appeal as a “Woman to Watch,” Kaci continues to be engaged in several community organizations, including the Christian Brothers University Honors Program Alumni Advisory Board, Memphis Child Advocacy Center, and Leadership Memphis. Kaci also enjoys volunteering through Hands On Nashville, serves as a tnAchieves mentor for the Tennessee Promise program, and participates in many statewide initiatives to support the state’s college completion agenda – the Drive to 55.

As a first-generation college graduate, she passionately believes in the life-changing impact a college degree can make and commits each day to ensuring that experience is a reality for all students in Tennessee.
