Building community advocates and promoting local accountability is critical to our shared goal of increasing graduation rates. Without community education and engagement, we cannot effectively raise postsecondary access and completion across the state of Tennessee.
A central pillar of Complete Tennessee’s work is educating stakeholders from diverse regions of the state about Tennessee’s postsecondary landscape. We aim to arm local leaders with data about the attainment, retention and completion rates in their community, and help them develop solutions to challenges current and prospective students in their region may face in their journey to earn a postsecondary degree.
Tennessee does not need one-size-fits-all solutions; we need solutions crafted from the constructive feedback from a diverse group of stakeholders. Supporting the next generation of higher education champions will not only help ensure the state maintains its commitment to improving postsecondary outcomes, but also help build a stronger pathway to college completion in communities across Tennessee.
Our signature leadership development program brings diverse leaders from across the state to learn more about postsecondary access and success. Click here to learn more about the program and cohort participants.
